Grow Avocado Tree from Seed Part 2

Here is part 2 of growing an avocado tree from store bought fruit.  Originally, I took the seed, soaked in water over night and then peeled the seed coating the next day.  I used the paper towel method in a mostly closed container and waited for a root to start.  Then I placed the seed in a pot after the root was about 2 inches long.  This is update us thru to 16 months old.

5 Steps After Blackberry Season Ends

  Here are 5 things I do at the end of the season after the blackberry harvest. 1. Prune the floricanes. 2. Tip the canes to encourage laterals. 3. Add compost/fertilizer. 4.
